Our Mission, Vision & Story
Formed in 2026, the European Kabaddi Federation exists to give the sport a single, organized home across the continent.
MISSION
To grow, structure and promote the sport of Kabaddi across Europe, connecting national federations, clubs and athletes, and building the pathways, competitions and standards the sport needs to thrive.
VISION
A Europe where every country has an active national Kabaddi federation, competing on a shared calendar of events and developing players from grassroots to international level.
How the Federation Came Together
The European Kabaddi Federation was formed in 2026, when representatives from federations across the continent agreed to establish a single governing body for the sport in Europe. Board positions were confirmed for representatives from the Netherlands, Norway, Czech Republic, France, Cyprus, Denmark, Hungary and Germany, and the group committed to publishing a yearly European events calendar.
Two-Year Terms
Every elected board position serves a fixed two-year term.
Elections Every Two Years
The full board stands for election on a two-year cycle.
Shared Responsibility
Federation duties are distributed across the board, not centralized.
Transparent Decision-Making
Governance decisions are documented and shared with all members.
